Dangerously Daydreaming

"All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible." ~ T. E. Lawrence

Photo Fridays: Smolare Falls

Happy Friday! Today’s photo is a snap that I took during a hike in Macedonia. Smolare Falls was at the end of a long, bumpy road, and a short, rocky trail in the Balkan countryside near the city of Strumica. We got to stop at the falls on our way back to Strumica from Bulgaria. I love these opportunities to be outdoors and explore nature from all over the world!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Haha, well I’m no James Bond, that’s for sure! 🙂 I went to the Balkans for humanitarian aid trip. My team went in to help with a construction project of building a community center for the kids in Stumica, Macedonia. We always get at least day or two to see some of the neat things in the area and the waterfall was a great stop after visiting nearby Bulgaria. I have to say that my favorite was seeing some Roman ruins and exploring a Turkish fortress in Greece though. Very cool!
