Happy Friday! Today’s photo is from my very favoritest place in Jerusalem, the Garden of Gethsemane. The garden is a place of natural beauty and peace in the midst of a busy city and some of the original olive trees from when the orchard was first planted (3000 years ago) are still standing. Consider this a teaser – next week I’ll be posting about the Mount of Olives and my time in the Garden of Gethsemane.

how beautiful A… so peaceful!
It’s so serene. Thank you!
I cannot wait to read all about it! Beautiful, beautiful snap. xx
You would love the garden, it’s tranquility in the midst of chaos.
Have a lovely weekend, you comedian gal!
Those trees are awesome! Can’t wait to read the next one!
Thank you! They are pretty cool, its crazy to think how old they are and that they’re still growing.
That does look quite peaceful.
Jerusalem can be so busy and full of people but everytime I’ve been in that garden it’s been so serene.
seriously, i would be weak(er) kneed being in a place like that. all the ‘weight’ of history, etc. (i’ve got weak-enuff kneez azzittizz)
I know what you mean. It’s so beautiful and so saturated with history that it boggled my poor little brain just trying to keep up.
Gorgeous! I would love to visit Jerusalem and see this one day. Thank you for sharing.
Subhan Zein
